The lac d'Esparron is only a 25 minute drive away from where I am currently living in France, although I haven't visited it nearly enough times to admire it's beauty! I love it so much, there is something so beautiful and special about the colour of the water and to be honest, just the place in general. I've come here a couple of times to go swimming in the warmer summer months, but this little trip was taken last Sunday on a cool autumn afternoon. My au pair family and I hopped into the car and headed towards Esparron where we took an hour boat ride around the lake (and yes, the lake is pretty dam big). I managed to escape the complaining children and sneak out to the back of the boat and just take in the beauty and snap away with my camera. There is something so relaxing about taking a boat ride in the afternoon, it's so peaceful and a breath of fresh air always makes you feel a million times better! Once back, we wandered around the cute little village until the sun started to set and it was lovely, starting to properly feel like autumn, which I love. But that is all, just a little hello from me, from France and an excuse to show some beautiful photos from where I'm living in the world right now. Enjoy!
