Vintage shopping in Brussels
One of my favourite things to do when I go to a new city is to firstly consult my lonely planet guidebook, but then secondly do a google search beyond just the first page of results. As in, blogs. I love reading blogs on cities to find the best places to eat or the more off the beaten track streets that only a local would know about. When I was researching Brussels, I cam across a couple of blog posts on the vintage shops they had here. So that became a plan, we set off one morning just to go find all the vintage shops in Brussels. Our favourite one was “Melting pot kilo” because here each item of clothing wasn’t iduviduatlly priced, it was all calculated by the weight. So 1Kg cost 15 euros, which was for everything, so it was actually a really good deal for some things. For example, I bought myself two head scarves that only essentially cost 30 cents each! Same goes with a backpack I bought, it cost hardly anything for what it was. Check out the photos below from some of the shops we visited.
